Innovation and technology in the Asian century
Come along to hear Simon Moorfield (CIO, GE Capital Asia Pacific) and Dr Marcus Powe (RMIT Entrepreneur in Residence) share their views and experiences over the last 25 years of living, working, starting and growing businesses in Asia.
The evening will be interactive during which we will explore the opportunities and challenges in what has been called the "Asian Century". The Prime Minister of Australia has released a wide ranging white paper on the 28th of October 2012. The white paper may also serve as a starting point of conversations during and after what will be a practical and fast paced evening.

Location
The RMIT Entrepreneur in Residence program is the only one of its type in Australia.
All RMIT students and staff have access to a highly experienced business person, consultant and entrepreneur who they can talk to and get individual advice about their concepts for new or existing businesses.
Marcus Powe, RMIT’s Entrepreneur in Residence also runs workshops in business planning and marketing, and hosts several Entrepreneurship Forums and other events each year. All students, staff and alumni are welcome to attend these events.
